01Summary
Hors Délai collects no personal data. The app has no account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Every brevet, control time, stop, photo and setting you enter is stored only on your own iPhone or iPad, in the app's local database. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
02What the app stores, and where
All of the following is written to on-device storage (SwiftData and the standard iOS settings store) and never leaves the device:
- Brevets you build or import from the sample route-sheet library: name, club, country, distance and control distances.
- Arrival times you log at each control, together with any note or information-control answer you type.
- Photos you choose to attach as proof of passage (a stamped card or a shop receipt).
- Planned food and sleep stops, pace settings and the safety margin you choose.
- Your night-riding kit checklist and which items are ticked.
- Milestones the app has recorded for your season, and app settings such as haptics and theme.
None of this is collected by the developer. It is not visible to us, it is not backed up to any developer-controlled server, and it is not shared with any third party.
03Camera and photo library
Hors Délai asks for camera access only at the moment you tap "Photograph" to capture a stamped brevet card or a shop receipt as your own proof of passage at a control. It asks for photo library access only when you choose "From photos" to attach an existing picture instead. Photos you attach are saved inside the app's local storage and are never uploaded, analysed or shared. You can decline either permission; the app then simply does not offer that proof option and explains how to enable it later in Settings.
04Notifications
If you turn on a kit reminder or a closing-time alert in Settings, Hors Délai asks iOS for permission to schedule a local notification at that moment. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by iOS on your device. No push notification service and no remote server is involved, and no data about you is sent anywhere to make this work.
05Data sharing and third parties
Hors Délai contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising network, no analytics library and no crash-reporting service. It makes no network requests of any kind. There is nothing to share, because nothing is collected in the first place.
06Your control over this data
Everything the app stores lives in Settings → Erase all ride data, which permanently deletes every brevet, arrival log, photo and setting from the device in one step. Deleting the app itself achieves the same result, since nothing is stored anywhere else.
07Children's privacy
Hors Délai is a cycling logbook for adult randonneurs and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
08Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date above. Continuing to use Hors Délai after a change means you accept the revised policy.
